The survival of frogs can serve as a precursor to our own survival. As such, the destiny of the frog mirrors our own.
Because both frogs and humans share the same environment, how frogs adapt and survive can serve as a valuable example for how humans will also adapt. As such, frogs’ continued survival can be seen as the future for humanity’s survival as a whole. It is thus both alarming and tragic to note that frogs are fast becoming an endangered species. We should all take this as a warning.
If we humans do not cease to halt our continuous destruction of nature, we too may share the frogs’ fate and become an endangered species. Monitoring the fate of the frog in effect monitors our own. Thus, creating and maintaining an environment where frogs survive and flourish ensures our own survival: by protecting frogs we protect ourselves.
